The Exemption Card Line: 815 70 050
What is a healthcare exemption card?
You are entitled to a healthcare exemption card (frikort) once you have paid a certain amount in user fees. When you present your exemption card, you do not have to pay user fees for the remainder of the calendar year.
There are two exemption card schemes: one for user group 1 and one for user group 2. Each covers a different range of services. If you have received an exemption card for one of the schemes, you may not use that card with the other scheme.
This card covers approved user fees among others for treatment by a doctor, a psychologist, in outpatient clinics and x-ray institutes.
This card covers approved user fees for treatment by a physiotherapist, certain forms of dental diseases, stays at approved rehabilitation clinics and treatments abroad arranged by Oslo University Hospital.
